Donald Trump
45th and 47th President of the United States. Maintained a close social relationship with Jeffrey Epstein from the mid-1980s through approximately 2004, documented by 14 phone numbers in Epstein's personal directory, message pad entries showing calls to Epstein's Palm Beach mansion, mutual visits, and at least one flight on Epstein's plane (Mark Epstein deposition, Sept. 2009). Mar-a-Lago, Trump's private club, was the site where Ghislaine Maxwell recruited Virginia Giuffre at age 15 from the club's spa (Giuffre sworn testimony, April 2011). In a 2002 Vanity Fair profile, Trump acknowledged Epstein's preference for younger women: "many of them are on the younger side." Attorney Brad Edwards noticed Trump for deposition based on extensive evidence but Epstein's legal team blocked it. Trump allegedly banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago circa 2004 after Epstein sexually assaulted an underage girl at the club (Edwards filing, unconfirmed by Trump). A civil suit by "Katie Johnson" alleging assault by Trump and Epstein was filed in 2016 and voluntarily withdrawn; no corroborating evidence emerged. Named in DOJ letter to Congress as a prominent person in EFTA files. AG Bondi informed Trump in May 2025 his name appeared in the files.
